Downtown Library

Located central to the downtown campus on University Avenue, the Downtown Library and Wise Library are connected by an atrium and house a wide variety of materials. The Downtown Library has materials related to history, political science, public administration, foreign languages, journalism, psychology, biology, botany, physics, math, chemistry, communication studies, business, economics, literature, geography, sociology, and anthropology. Many special collections are located in the Wise Library, including the West Virginia & Regional History Center, the Appalachian Collection, and the Rare Book Collection.

Deep Quiet Rooms

The Milano and Robinson Reading Rooms located in Wise Library are designated as quiet rooms for students to use for individual study.

Group Study Rooms

Reserve these rooms to study alone or with a group.  Each room is equipped with a computer and large monitor for easy collaboration.

Reserve a Room

Veterans' Study Room

Student veterans and their tutors may use this room, which includes comfortable chairs, stools, a whiteboard, computer workstations and counter and table space. Veterans with a valid Mountaineer card may swipe and enter.
