The Reflection Rooms in the Downtown Campus Library and the Evansdale Library provide a designated quiet, peaceful place free from distraction. They are:
- open to individuals of any faith or no faith
- for quiet prayer or other introspective practices
- free of food, beverages, and studying
- accessible when the building is open
Individuals or small groups may use the room for reflective practices such as contemplation, meditation and prayer. Guidelines are posted in the room.
The libraries do not discourage these practices in other library locations.
The room in the Downtown Campus Library is on the lower level, and the room in the Evansdale Library is located in Room 216.
For locations of designated prayer rooms on all campuses, please see the WVU Muslim Students Association guide to Prayer Rooms around Campus.
