The WVU Libraries have been the Federal Depository for the state of West Virginia since 1882. It also has been a depository for state publications since 1996. We are committed to providing free public access to government information to WVU faculty, staff, and students, as well as citizens of West Virginia. While the majority of government documents are now available electronically, all libraries on campus contain some print federal government documents. The documents are distributed to the WVU Libraries based on subject. Documents, print and electronic, can be located through WorldCat.
