Course Reserves

Place readings or other materials for your students on reserve at WVU Libraries, providing them a short-term, no-cost option for access.

While the most reliable way to get textbooks quickly is to purchase or rent them from a campus or online bookstore, some faculty place required reading and textbooks on reserve at WVU Libraries, providing a free option for students to access these materials for a short period of time.

WVU Libraries administers this no-cost option, among others, to access class readings or materials.

Students can:

With Course Reserves, WVU Libraries can make most, if not all, class materials available online for students to access at no cost.

Faculty can:

  • Place materials like journal articles, book chapters, streaming media, and more, on reserve.
