West Virginia University Libraries has added Europa World Yearbook to its suite of online resources licensed for WVU users. Available on and off campus, Europa World Yearbook contains country overviews with economic, political, and geographic background information and statistical data, along with directory contacts and a comprehensive listing of major international organizations. 

Users seeking a trusted substitute for the CIA’s World Factbook are encouraged to consult the Europa World Yearbook or the "Political Handbook of the World 2024-2025."
